Lorig Charkoudian, Maryland State Delegate, District 20, lorigd20.comI am eager to work with my colleagues in the Maryland General Assembly to make Maryland a carbon-neutral state. The crisis of climate change and the inaction of our federal government requires that we move quickly to achieve this goal. Carbon-neutrality will mean a healthier environment and a shift towards renewable energy. Maryland has an opportunity to serve as a model for the rest of the nation to show that being carbon neutral is not only beneficial for our environment, but also our community and economy.
